The Project includes construction of approximately five (5) miles of 8-inch diameter transmission pipeline to convey water produced by Well #2 to the community of Santa Nella; construction of approximately 0.5 miles of 8-inch diameter distribution pipeline to convey groundwater produced by Well #2 to the community of Volta; construction of two (2) 750,000-gallon storage tanks, hydropneumatic tank, blending facilities, booster pumping facilities, emergency generator, and electrical controls and at the District’s distribution site to accept and blend groundwater from Well #2 with treated surface water; development of the Well #2 site including construction of top side improvements to Well #2, one (1) 200,000-gallon storage tank, booster pump station and building, hydropneumatic tank, emergency generator, and site improvements to supply water to the District’s distribution site and Volta community; and, installation of water meters on existing service connections and destruction and removal of the existing groundwater well and facilities in the community of Volta.
Items available to be subcontracted and/or purchased include but are not limited to: SWPPP design; earthwork & sitework; boring & jacking; dewatering; paving; fencing & gates; concrete & aggregate materials; structural steel; miscellaneous metals; doors & hardware; overhead doors; paintings & coatings; fire protection; pre-engineered metal buildings; welded steel tanks; pipe & valve materials; electrical materials; and instrumentation & controls.

We encourage bids from all subcontractors and suppliers, including those with DBE/WBE/MBE/SBE status. We are an equal-opportunity employer. We encourage contracting with a group of DBEs when a contract is too large for one firm to manage individually. We offer assistance with bonding, credit, and insurance. Subcontractors will be required to sign the Auburn Constructors Standard Subcontract Agreement, which includes the right for Auburn to require subcontractors to furnish a faithful performance and labor bond in a form and from a surety acceptable to Auburn in the amount of 100% of the subcontract price. Subcontractors will be required to comply with all subcontract insurance requirements. A copy of the Standard Subcontract Agreement is available on request. All potential subcontractors and suppliers must also comply with the American Iron and Steel requirement for the use of iron and steel products produced in the United States. Please also note that Davis-Bacon wage rate requirements apply to this project.
